UK-Saudi Real Estate Exhibition Records £136m

The London event concluded with more than 2,100 registrations, 15 agreements and high-level visits from Saudi Arabia, Qatar and the wider international community.

The UK-Saudi Real Estate Exhibition concluded its second edition in London with organisers reporting £136.31 million—equivalent to SAR 681.55 million—in property sales and reservations across three days.

Held from 2 to 4 August at The Chancery Rosewood in Grosvenor Square, the exhibition generated more than double the approximately £50 million recorded during the whole of the previous season.

The announced total combines property sales and reservations rather than completed sales alone. It nevertheless provides an indication of the level of interest attracted by the Saudi developments presented in London.

Organised by International Investment Gate (IIG), the exhibition recorded more than 2,100 registrations, including over 400 made at the door. It brought Saudi developers together with UK and international investors, family offices and institutional capital around a combined property portfolio exceeding SAR 2.5 billion across Riyadh, Makkah and Madinah.

Final Report

Ministerial Visit Marks the Final Day

The closing day featured a visit by His Excellency Eng. Saleh bin Nasser Al-Jasser, Saudi Minister of Transport and Logistic Services.

The minister toured the exhibition with Dr Mohammed AlSwaidan, chief executive of IIG, and met participating developers, including representatives at the stand of diamond sponsor AlAwaly Real Estate.

Sheikh Faisal bin Qassim Al Thani, a member of Qatar’s ruling Al Thani family, chairman of Al Faisal Holding and one of the Gulf’s prominent business figures, also toured the exhibition alongside Dr AlSwaidan on the final day.

Other notable visitors during the three-day event included Mr Abdulrahman S. Abuganiah, Saudi Commercial Attaché to the United Kingdom, who opened the exhibition with a ribbon-cutting ceremony on the first day.

Sheikh Ismail Menk, widely known as Mufti Menk, visited on the second day to learn about developments in Madinah, including projects located near the Prophet’s Mosque.

The exhibition also welcomed company executives, Saudi diplomats, family offices and institutional investors from the UK, the Gulf and Europe.

Final Report

£65.7m Recorded on the Opening Day

The exhibition’s opening day accounted for £65.7 million in reported sales and reservations, exceeding the approximately £50 million recorded across the entire previous season.

Organisers also reported that £17.8 million was directed towards Uhud Vista, a single development in Madinah located minutes from the Prophet’s Mosque.

Alongside the exhibition floor, a daily programme of investor sessions addressed practical aspects of cross-border property investment. Topics included Saudi property ownership for non-residents, UK property investment, tax structuring and Islamic finance.

Fifteen Agreements Signed in Three Days

Fifteen memoranda of understanding were signed during the exhibition, compared with 13 across the entirety of the previous season’s programme.

The agreements included tripartite cooperation between IIG, Kerten Hospitality and Fronds, as well as agreements between Whitehall Lending and Select Property and between Whitehall Lending and Sama Real Estate.

IIG, Oluo Real Estate, KEC and Hama Capital also signed a memorandum covering the establishment of the Uhud Vista Fund.

Other agreements brought together AKFA Holding and IIG, AKFA Holding and Oluo Real Estate, AKFA Holding and Whitehall Lending, Amazing Will and Tahqiq Al Amal, IIG and Wuthqa, and Sama Real Estate and Druces LLP.

Five further agreements were signed on the final day:

  • Seven Capital and Merali’s Chartered Accountants
  • IIG and Greendome
  • Sama Real Estate and Greendome
  • Select Property and Druces LLP
  • Druces LLP and AlAwaly Real Estate

One of the agreements—between Whitehall Lending and Select Property—was reached and signed after the two companies connected on the exhibition floor.

A Meeting Point for Two Markets

The exhibition concluded the 2026 London Investment Season, which began with the UK-KSA Apex at the Queen Elizabeth II Centre in June and continued with a House of Lords reception hosted by Lord Udny-Lister in July.

The season was organised against the backdrop of closer investment links between the United Kingdom and Saudi Arabia under Vision 2030, including the development of new property ownership pathways for international investors and continued Gulf investment in British real estate.

Reflecting on the exhibition’s results, Dr Mohammed AlSwaidan said:

“When a serving Saudi minister, a member of Qatar’s ruling family and one of the world’s most followed Islamic scholars all walk the same exhibition floor in the same week, something has changed. This is no longer a property exhibition. It is the meeting point of two markets, and the numbers—more than £136 million in three days—show what happens when the right people are in the right room. We thank our exhibitors, our partners, supporters and every visitor, and we will see you next summer.”
