Event Details

The Global Collaboration and Growth Meeting, taking place in Jeddah, on 22–23 April 2026, will convene more than 1,000 global leaders to address the world’s most pressing geo‑economic and technological challenges.

Organised by the World Economic Forum (WEF), the meeting focuses on the theme “Building Common Ground and Reviving Growth,” reflecting the urgent need for renewed cooperation amid rising geopolitical fragmentation and economic uncertainty. Moreover, the gathering will bring together heads of state, ministers, CEOs, academics, youth representatives, and civil‑society leaders to explore pathways for restoring global stability and accelerating sustainable growth. According to the WEF, the event aims to unlock new opportunities for innovation‑driven transformation across industries while strengthening mechanisms for international coordination. Saudi Arabia’s Minister of Economy and Planning, Faisal Alibrahim, has emphasised during the announcement in Davos that constructive dialogue and pragmatic collaboration will be essential to navigating an increasingly complex global landscape. He highlighted that stability “cannot be quickly built, and it cannot be bought,” urging participants to engage actively in shaping a more resilient global economy. The meeting’s agenda will centre on three core priorities:
  • Reviving global growth through investment, trade, and technological advancement.
  • Building common ground by fostering trust and cooperation across regions and sectors.
  • Transforming industries through innovation, digitalisation, and future‑focused policy frameworks.
Co‑chairs from leading global institutions and companies will contribute to high‑level discussions on competitiveness, energy transitions, supply‑chain resilience, and the future of work. Furthermore, by hosting the meeting, Saudi Arabia will reinforce its growing role as a global convening hub and a key contributor to international economic dialogue. The outcomes of the Jeddah gathering will likely shape ongoing WEF initiatives and collaborative efforts throughout 2026 and beyond. Read more: The Fire Middle East Conference, 2026
