The Film Commission is set to launch the third edition of the Saudi Film Confex, scheduled for October 22-25 in Riyadh, under the theme “A Gathering That Transforms the Scene.”

The Saudi Film Confex will bring together top filmmakers, producers, and industry experts from the global cinematic sector. The event aims to boost Saudi Arabia's film industry growth and empowerment through investment, strategic partnerships, and alignment with the country's National Culture Strategy under Vision 2030, prioritising cultural development. Moreover, it is a dynamic networking platform that connects all stakeholders in the filmmaking ecosystem, including production companies, technical service providers, investors, and funding institutions, highlighting opportunities, promoting collaborations, reinforcing the nation's film infrastructure, and supporting startups. The third edition of the film industry conference will feature over 30 panel discussions and workshops on topics like film financing, content development, and regulatory frameworks, as well as side events and specialised workshops. The Confex exhibition will feature over 130 participants from local, regional, and international sectors, including production companies, equipment rental providers, software providers, creative technologies, streaming platforms, government partners, educational institutions, film associations, and funding bodies. Saudi Film Confex 2025 now opens exhibitor registration for local and global companies, government entities, and regulatory entities via official social media accounts and a direct link. Registered exhibitors will showcase projects, latest innovations, and opportunities in the film industry, fostering strategic partnerships to drive market growth and strengthen the Kingdom's global presence.
