The inaugural Saudi Maritime Awards Night is slated for Thursday, January 29, 2026, at The Ritz-Carlton Jeddah in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

Under the sponsorship of H.E. Saleh bin Nasser Al-Jasser and in strategic collaboration with the Transport General Authority (TGA), the event is taking place. Moreover, Robban Assafina, the MENA Maritime Media Platform, is organising this event to honour and recognise notable figures in the maritime and shipping sectors for their notable accomplishments and ongoing high-level performance in areas such as ports, shipping, and related businesses. Saudi Maritime Awards will present twenty-four distinct awards, selected by an esteemed panel of independent judges, and will highlight the contributions of maritime professionals, uniting various stakeholders, including regional government agencies and maritime administrations, shipbuilding and repair companies, port and terminal operators, shipowners, shipping lines, and representatives from the offshore and oil and gas industries. Besides, the judging panel, made up of distinguished experts, will evaluate nominees to recognise the most deserving candidates. This event allows regional companies to share their success stories globally, boosting their visibility and reputation in the maritime community. Further, the evaluation process will enhance understanding of industry trends and best practices. Saudi Arabia is focusing on becoming a regional maritime trade hub by showcasing its achievements and innovations in this sector through an upcoming event.
