The Middle East’s Financial Wealth Expected to Reach 6.5 Trillion Dollar in 2026

Economic analysts have predicted that the financial wealth in the Middle East will rise from $5 trillion by the end of 2021 to $6.5 trillion in 2026.

Boston Consulting Group noted that the global financial wealth stood at $274.4 trillion at the end of 2021, compared to $188.6 trillion at the end of 2016. Moreover, global financial wealth is predicted to reach $355 trillion by the end of 2026, with an increase of almost 29% from the end of 2021.

 

Boston Group pointed out that the total financial wealth in the Middle East is $5 trillion and accounted for 1.8% of global financial wealth. The group also noted that the global financial wealth and real assets has grown by $26.2 trillion in absolute terms in 2021, meanwhile the wealth and real assets of the Middle East has increased by +$0.4 trillion.

In parallel, Boston Consulting Group expected the Middle East’s financial wealth to reach $6.5 trillion by the end of 2026, which will make up 1.8 percent of global financial wealth.
