Salman Al-Dossary’s Background and Education:
Salman bin Youssef Al-Dossary was born in the city of Al-Khobar in 1968. He graduated from King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals in 1991 with a bachelor’s degree in management and economics.
His Professional Career:
Salman Al-Dossary started working as a correspondent for the Al-Eqtisadiah daily in 1998 under the Saudi Research and Marketing Group. In 2004, he went to work for the Al-Sharq Al-Awsat newspaper in Bahrain.
He took on the role of editor in the United Arab Emirates in 2006.
He became assistant editor-in-chief of Asharq Al-Awsat newspaper in December 2009 at the newspaper’s headquarters in London, the capital of England.
In October 2011, he took over as editor-in-chief of Al-Eqtisadiah newspaper. And in 2014, he became editor-in-chief of Asharq Al-Awsat newspaper.
Al-Dossary’s Contributions and Influence
Al-Dossary became well-known for his wide range of coverage of national, international, and local events.
