Sheila Al-Ruwaili Academic Achievements

In 1966, Sheila Al-Ruwaili was born. She graduated from King Faisal University with a bachelor’s degree in interior architecture in 1987. She received a Master of Business Administration from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in the US in 2018. Also, she received a master’s degree in financial management from the American University of Beirut.

 

Sheila Al-Ruwaili Positions

She worked for Saudi Aramco in some roles, most notably as Director of the Treasury Department’s Financial Risk Management from 2016 to 2017 and as Director of the Global Analysis Department from 2018 to 2019.

The Treasury Department’s Head of the Investment Management Department from 2008 to 2016, and Treasurer of Aramco Services Company from 2006 to 2007.

She was a project financing financial analyst in 2005 and 2006, and a financial market trader in 1998 and 2000

Sheila Al-Ruwaili was chosen for the “Heart Energy” list, which ranks the top 25 powerful women in the energy sector for the year 2021. And for the Forbes magazine’s list, which ranks the top 100 businesswomen in the Middle East for the year 2023.

 

Her financial industry experiences

She has worked in the financial industry for more than 22 years, giving her a wealth of experience. She is currently the CEO of Wesaya International Investment Company, which she joined in January 2019.
