Abdulaziz Al-Jouf, the most prominent Saudi business leader, was born in Riyadh in 1979 and began his career in the field of trade.

He established a tiny trade firm in 2001, but it experienced losses and bankruptcy in 2008, causing him to lose everything.

Al-Jouf refused to give up and instead opted to start over, founding PayTabs, an electronic payment startup, in 2010.
